ŠKODA is one of the top ten bestselling car brands in Ireland, and is renowned for its excellent quality and range such as the Fabia, Octavia, Yeti , Roomster and Superb.

ŠKODA is also one of the oldest carmakers in the world. Its founders, Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement, first produced bikes in 1895 in Mlada Boleslav of the former Czechslovakia. In fact, some ŠKODA  cars are still manufactured in Mlada Boleslav – just outside the city of Prague.

In 1991, ŠKODA joined the Volkswagen Group which includes Audi, Volkswagen and SEAT. Following this, ŠKODA arrived in Ireland during 1993 and is now a much-loved brand today. In 2010 the ŠKODA Yeti was named the Irish Family Car of the Year, and now with its GreenLine range, ŠKODA is making giant leaps into the future for car manufacturing.
