With regard to your safety…
Safety is an area in which, in accordance with technical progress, there are still things that can be improved.
Therefore, the new ŠKODA Superb Combi comes up with a number of innovated and brand new safety elements on which you can fully rely.

The basic building blocks for your safety and comfortable travel are
airbags
and electronic travel stability systems. The Superb Combi can be fitted with up to nine airbags, including side and head airbags, as well as a knee airbag for the driver.
The
ESP stabilising system
, including ABS (Anti-lock Brake System), MSR (Torque Moment Regulation), ASR (Anti-Slip Regulator), EDS (Electronic Differential Lock) and HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assistant), ensures the car can be controlled in critical situations.
The ŠKODA Superb is a sufficiently powerful car to pull caravans. On holiday with your caravan you will appreciate the intelligent car and trailer stabilisation system (
TSA
).
Lighting is an important element in active safety. The
Bi-xenon headlights with AFS
are not only visually attractive. The adaptive system alters the lighting to suit various travelling conditions.
Economic
day lights
are newly located in the fog lights. The
rear lights
, which have an irregular trapezoid shape, are a significant design element of the car’s rear, which, however, does not overshadow their safety function.
Comfortable and safe starting on a slope without using the handbrake is guaranteed by the
hill hold control
. The
tyre pressure control
function will also be an ingenious guardian of your peace of mind on your travels.
TSA
The stabilising TSA (Trailer Stability Assist) system is automatically supplied together with the ESP. By braking the wheels and reducing the engine’s torque, it can effectively prevent uncontrollable swinging of the car and trailer to the side.
Rear Windscreen Wiper
The rear Aero wiper can now have an automatic rear window wiping function. The driver will therefore have a good overview of the situation behind the car even in heavy rain.
Day Lights
The front fog lights were re-designed for the Superb Combi and extended to include independently lighting and therefore more economical lights for day use.
4x4
The ŠKODA Suberb Combi can boast an advanced all-wheel drive through a fourth generation inter-axle clutch. This guarantees great handling and, together with ABS, ESP and EDS, better controllability on slippery surfaces.
